Carnival of Real Estate #68

By: David Gibbons Zillow.com | November 19, 2007

As host of this week’s 68th version of the Carnival of Real Estate, Tim Abbott of A Better Mortgage gives a nod to the popular wry TV series “The Office” by basingDundie Awards the Carnival’s theme on “The Dundie Awards.” Watch the short video (1:25) within his Carnival post to get in the mood for Tim’s winning lineup. Earning the ultimate Dundy is Mike Mueller of Mike’s Minute. Mike gets the “Busiest Beaver Award” for his post, “Level 3, FASB 157, and my 10 Taxi Cabs,” which is a humorous post sounding more Star Wars than mortgages, but he cleverly uses a fictional taxi cab company to describe the mortgages debacle. We love Mike’s creativity in wrapping this up nicely. It’s a must-read! And, many thanks to Tim for a fun Carnival. Laughing on a Monday morning helps make things right.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday next week, the carnival will make its next appearance on Monday, December 3 at John Barker’s Mortgage Blog. Please submit your best post by Sunday, December 2, to be considered. Are you a real estate blogger and would you like to host a future edition or take a more active role in carnival administration? If so, get instructions on how to do so here. Please check the complete FAQ list if you have other questions as to how to participate.
