Unusual Life - Interesting Architecture & Homes

By: Shaun McLane, EKDAY | June 1, 2007

With so many blogs created for real estate, it’s very easy to overlook many of them. I’m on a mission to uncover real estate sites worth reading, but have somehow gone “under the radar.”

Unusual Life

The first blog I’ve uncovered, written by Marlow Harris from Seattle Washington, is Unusual Life, and features posts about unusual homes, amazing architecture, and strange places. The blog’s loaded with pictures of extreme homes, offbeat homes, weird homes, and unusual art, and is a nice addition to your feed reader.

Well written, and a plethora of pictures, makes reading Unusual Life a nice change of pace. The layout is simple and clean. The content is fresh and updated regularly, and it’s a general enough topic that anyone can enjoy. As I read through the posts and see the pictures, I can’t help but be reminded of the opening credits of National Lampoons “Vacation.” There’s just something fun about seeing a building with a cowboy hat for a roof.

Take a few minutes and see how “unusual” things can get in our “usual” real estate world!

Thanks for the acknowledgment. I try to make Unusual Life interesting and something that I’d like to read. It seems we’ve always planned vacations to visit strange places and now I have have a site to feature all those odd vacation photos and adventures. Plus, I’m finding people are sending me material, which makes it a fun way to meet new friends and discover all the “unusual life” out there!
